My sister makes purses. She gets the 'plan' or 'designs' from the crafts section at any local department store (e.g. Wal-Mart, Kmart, Michael's, etc.) and sells them on Ebay and asks to put her business cards at local stores so other people can see them. Its a quite boring title 'Purses and such' but she some other stuff too, like sewing blankets with a certain fabric that the customer wants and such. Its a hobby so its enjoyable to her.

Whatever you "make", it is sometimes difficult to get what you are worth. You need to be able to have access to the best pricing you can get in whatever you choose to do. Preferably, wholesale.

I do crafts to compliment and create gifts to go with my business products and you have to be able to set a price that is competitive and to the interest of your focused market.

Training is very important. We all have to start somewhere and to try to do it all yourself, takes a lot of time especially if there is a system already out there working. Don't try to invent the wheel. Find a system that works, learn it and as you perfect that, you will then be able to incorporate your own style.

In my opinion, the most important thing is that you Love what you are doing and the money is secondary. Financially, I believe you have to think Long-Term.

If your "intention" is money and not your Love for what you are doing, your prospective customers will sense it. Positive draws in positive. They need to feel your energy to be drawn to you and your products.
