hey gio I sent u the link for BBC! website earlier on, the ITV site
http://worldcup.itv.com/WorldCup_On_ITV/0,16741,6849,00.html
I dont know why the page is not shown so add this after On_ITV/0,16741,6849,00.html and for some reason the case is reflected as lower so type it as lower eg (on_itv/0,16741,6849,00.html)
U can watch it free, both BBC and ITV take turns to broadcast the matches, just click on the video and set ur player which ever u prefer. I feel real player is smoother and crisp at 100%. Just incase u didnt get the BBc link here we go

http://news.bbc.co.uk
/sport1/hi/football/world_cup_2006
/default.stm
after cup_2006 there is no... (ignore that)

the same here add this 0,16741,6849,00.html

http://worldcup.itv.com
/WorldCup_On_ITV
/0,16741,6849,00.html

i had to break the continuity for it to appear as it is. Type the link continusously with no breaks or ... in between and it shd take u there.

Hope it was useful and
Good luck

i found this site www.satellitepcchannels.com that charges you $39.99 and claims you could watch the worldcup matches on there site live, when all they are doing is redirecting you to this site i found several months ago http://tv4all.com/portal.htm is the same site except this second site is FREE,i think this is a scam and should be reported.
I know cause they got me,i bought they so claim software when all they do is take to that site and you need to browse all over the world to find what you looking for and by the way i still havent found a channel that gives the matches live!
please pass this info along to all your friends!

This is all I've found to try watching online:
http://www.chiff.com/recreation/sports/world-cup-2006.htm
World Cup On the Web
-Online, ESPN360 (http://broadband.espn.go.com/broadband/EBB2/web/shellMain ) will simulcast every match of the 2006 FIFA World Cup that is televised on ESPN and ESPN2 from Friday, June 9 through Sunday, July 9. Also featured will be a live webcast program, including pre-match, halftime and post-match segments, along with exclusive interviews with players, coaches and analysts. LIMITED WEB PROVIDERS
-BBC will also provide live streaming video for selected games at BBC Sports(http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/world_cup_2006/default.stm ) along with four-minute highlight packages from every single game of the tournament on demand.
-NDTV is an Indian site that's also webcasting (http://www.ndtv.com/sports/fifa/default.asp and http://www.ndtv.com/ndtvvideo/default.asp )
