Life is what you make it...

2006-06-09 04:28:11 · answer #1 · answered by CheetosRock 4 · 2 1

That term or phrase is used so often and yet so untrue. Life can become difficult sometimes and seem impossible sometimes, but to compare to life as being a "living hell" is far, far from the truth.

Do you know what the Bible says about Hell? The Bible says that hell is a scorching hot and dark place and you can't quench your thirst and there are people down there that are gnashing their teeth and screaming. Does that sound like your life?

Nothing here on earth can compare to the real Hell. The real hell is much much worse.

You may say your life stinks or is unfair or your life doesn't make you happy or something like that. Try your best to improve your life. Examine the areas that need improvement and work on them. Try to discover your passions and desires in your life. Explore new possibilities to expand your creativity. Find something you most enjoy to do. Find a hobby. Not happy with your job? Get another one that suits you better. These are just examples on how you could improve your life.

May you feel better about your life soon, good luck!

Heaven is earth - hell is other people!

I have found that the majority of personal conflicts I have encountered throughout my life - and there have been some realy humdingers - have occured through the jealousy and/or immaturity on the parts of other people. Confident people make weak people feel threatened so people just tend to lash out in whatever their way is. In short - sod the detractors! Let their weakness make you stronger.

As for war - it's just a part of human nature. We can't change it so just focus on the better things in life... and that isn't necessarily money or material goods. Look on your inside be good and true to yourself and enjoy the world and what it has to offer more. Yeah, I sound like an old hippy and I am - but that has come with age.

The best experiences to learn from really are the negative ones. (Your pampered friends will find out the hard way one day). Bide your time: the more negative experiences you have (as bad as it sounds) the more you will be able to cope with what life throws at you.

Keep the faith! (and I don't mean that in a religious way either - religion stinks!)

life is a living hell only if you make it. there are times when you do feel so but it is up to you to make your life what you want it to be.
life can be most interesting if you do things, like educate yourself or find a hobby or friends, on the whole life is what you make it.

i used to feel this way, then i heard this saying 'life is easy, make a decision and don't look back!' maybe it would help if you would try not to over ponder things, and take things as they are. make it easy. and once you make a decision stick with it and don't look back and be like ohhh it owuld have been better if i hadn't done that. regrets get you no where in life.

What's so wrong with hell its a bit more interesting than heaven, but its not life.

Actually life is not. But if you choose to think like that it will be.
It's all in the mind....if you look at things from a negative perspective, it will be negative. And if you look at it from a positive perspective, it will be positive. It's all in the MIND
