This song has been performed by so many artists - Boney M, Bob Marley, Fugees, etc..I wanted to find out who was the first one to do it, as in whose song is it originally?

And also 'Knocking On Heavan's Door'? Is it Dylan's original?

Kncking on Heavens Door is Dylans original. I think Marley wrote no woman no cry.

No Woman, No Cry was first done by Bob Marley and Knockin on Heaven's Door is indeed a Dylan original.

"No Woman, No Cry" is a reggae song made famous by Bob Marley and the Wailers. The song was first published in 1974, and became world-famous in 1975 through the studio album Natty Dread by the same band.

Knockin' on Heaven's Door" is a song written by Bob Dylan from Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid, the soundtrack of the 1973 film of the same name, Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid.
