I skipped my period this month, yes took 3 pregnancy tests and then when it was 4 days late had a blood test confirming the negative result. Well had a TON of stress this month, my grandpa passed away 3 days ago, closed on a new house, had to find renters for the house, lost my daycare for my daughter, etc... so it is understandable stress could have made me not get a period. Well, 3 days ago I started getting ovulation pains and my cervix was in ovulation position (we are trying to get pregnant again so I keep track of this). We did have sex so if I did ovulate I could get pregnant, but I am wondering if due to stress my body could ovulate again instead of getting a period? My doctors office will not see me unless I have not received my period for 6 months, they are an HMO and I cannot change docs because I can only see ones affiliated with the plan. Is this normal? Can this happen? Could I be pregnant in a couple weeks? Thanks for any advice!!!!

Yes you can still ovulate after you miss a peroid. Your body will try to get back on track after that one cycle you had all of the stress with. And no if you already ovulated your body can not ovulate again in that cycle. Stress can delay your ovulation big time, if you dont ovulate in the one cycle your body will just keep trying to ovulate until it does, so yes you can still get pg!
Good luck and baby dust!
