Not only do I love the smell, I also love the sound. There is nothing better that I know of; rain falling and me taking a nap!

Yes, I love when there's rain after a long hot day (and the smell of rain). I don't like rain when it's cold and miserable for days on end.

It's the best smell on a summer night, when you are sitting on the porch. It's even better to lay in your bed with your window open so you can smell the rain and listen to it. The perfect way to sleep in my opinion.

Definately depends where you live. Arizona rain stinks! I guess cause it doesnt rain enough and it smells like rust or something. Then florida and places like that, I like the smell- because it has a normal kinda rain smell. Thats my .02 lol

Do you mean that smell when it rains after a long dry spell, that smells earthy and fresh and hot. It's my favourite smell, brings me straight back to my childhood in Kenya, I would sit on the veranda as a kid watching the first heavy rains , the ibis it brought to our garden and smelling that wonderful smell.

yes i do ...especially away from the city..the smell of rain in the city.....really takes some getting use to ....there is nothing like the smell of rain in the country side.

yeah i love the smell of rain, sometimes that why i love it when it rains while im in school, it's easier for me to relax while doing book work

yeah. i like the way it sounds when i crack my window. then the smell comes in. its very relaxing. sometimes i just go out like in the middle of the nite with an umbrella and go play in the rain. if you havent done it its very fun. if its thundering watch it. i wish it would rain 1 good time.
