Actually you are correct indeed. Al-Zarqawi's whereabout have been known for over 5 months now...... I do not think that is coincidence AT ALL.

I never fail to be amused by some of the outright ignorant "questions" that get asked here. Not only do the askers have no clue about what's actually going on over there (other than what some news babe on network TV regurgitates to them that is), they have zero common sense.
If Bush already knew where al-Zarqawi was, he would have taken him long before now, when his "approval rating" (which varies by 10-15 points up and down depending on what liberal group's BS survey you believe) was just beginning its so-called "decline". Geniuses like you were saying the same thing when we found Saddam....we had him in a hole for 6 months/a year/2 years waiting for the right political moment to happen. What a load of crap. And you'll be saying the same thing when we finally get Osama too.
Here's how we got al-Zarqawi....through our intelligence network and with the help of (gasp!) other Iraqis. His hiding place was found, targeted, and taken out, promptly and with precision. Yes, I'm sure it's hard for you to believe, but our intel network and our forces actually succeed occasionally, despite all the half truths and distortions you hear on TV from the liberal media. Our troops have been doing, and continue to do an excellent job under difficult circumstances, and guess what? The vast majority of the Iraqi people support them...a fact conveniently ignored and/or whitewashed by the liberal media.
In short, this guy was found due to the diligence of both our people and the Iraqis working together, and not timed or staged for gain. If you want to play "conspiracy theory", go try to figure out who killed Kennedy or something.

No, I don't think so. I mean, if it was THAT simple to catch the guy, couldn't Bush have done it a long time ago. Instead of waiting until his ratings are rock bottom, wouldn't they have killed Al-Zarqawi BEFORE he even let it get that bad? Besides, I don't think that you can say his approval ratings are at an all time low - his term isn't over yet! : P

I honestly don't think Bush is smart enough to be that good to just kill this guy at anytime. If he was he would have already nabbed Osama bin Laden. Plus you gotta remember Bush's approval ratings have been low for the majority of his Presidency except right after 9-11 of course. It is a good thing Zarqawi is dead...hooray for good intelligence.

Oh for the love of god! Does nothing ever satisfy you liberals? No matter what Bush does to make us safer, you criticize it. No matter what our military accomplishes, you say it took too long or cost too much.
HERE IS A CHALLENGE AND A PREDICTION: when we kill or capture Osama Bin Laden, all you liberals will denigrate this accomplishment. Right now, you are all saying that killing Al-Zarqawi pales in comparison with the importance of ridding the world of Bin Laden. But mark my words, when we get him, all the liberal pinheads will do a 360-degree turn and say it wasn't that important or didn't accomplish anything.
Anyone want to make a bet on that?

Why do people have to look for conspiracies in every single act?
If Bush wanted to use Zarqawi that way, why did he wait this long? His approval ratings have been down for awhile.

Bush's approval rating has been low for a long time. Is nothing ever good enough for you?
People say we need to get Zarqawi. We got him. Now its not good enough. It's crazy.
I'm not a fan of Bush. I'm not even a Republican, but I can't understand how nothing is good enough.

No. I think "someone" just got lucky when they decided to bomb a place where Iraqi people were congregating. Instead of killing Iraqi families this time, they actually killed a person who was wanted "dead or alive". Unfortunately, Zarqawi bit the big one and there will be no "intelligence" coming from him.

That's right - it just happened to occur when his ratings are at their lowest. So?
(I'm no Bush voter, but c'mon - it happens when it happens. Isn't gonna help him now anyway. And besides, it IS a good thing - I couldn't be happier about Zarqawi's death.)

Bush isn't smart enough to figure that out, but he does have a cast of evil around him that could. I don't think it will do much for his rating because the killings will still go on. Short of bringing everyone back home, I do not think anything can help his ratings.

Good point. He does always seem to have a backup plan doesn't he? Everybody is speculating about the next election........well I wonder if Bush will pull some stunt to get himself illegally re-elected? Maybe he'll do something so "wonderful" that they'll change the law just for him? Probably not, but it's something to think about. He seems to be so determined to overturn the constitution anyway...........
