It is the Stanley Cup so anything can happen, but unfortunately for Oiler fans, time has already ran out. The Hurricanes are on a roll. Plus not only has Edmonton lost their starting goalie, that 3-goal lead they blew has sucked the life out of them. They have to play desperate hockey and I see no signs of that yet. So realistically I can't see them winning even another game. No chance whatsoever of winning Lord Stanley's coveted cup. Watch and learn!

It all depends on how well Jussi Markkanen or Ty Conklin plays. The Oilers won't be getting Dwayne Roloson back. The Oilers have talented players like Ryan Smith and gritty player like Mike Peca. They have good defense from Chris Pronger. But none of these matter if they have to worry about their goaltending. It will be interesting to see how the Oilers play game 3 on Saturday.

I BELIEVE. it's not just the goalie that wins the cup. they got a great team that can score.they gotta great defence and can pretect a goalie.if they put ty cocklin in there that will hopefully pump up the team. and lets not forget that the oilers home is LOUD!!! this could get into the heads of the canes. SO I STILL BELIEVE LET'S GO OILERS!!!!! i bet 7 bucks on the oilers i know they won't fail me!!!!

NO. They belong in the '80's with Michael Jackson, old-school rap, and the GOOD MTV. They've had their time. Now is the time of the Hurricanes, their arch-rival from the WHA days.
(For those of you who don't know, the current Carolina Hurricanes are the former Hartford [Connecticutt] Whalers; both Edmonton and Hartford were World Hockey Association franchises that were inducted into the NHL when the WHA folded in the early '80's.)

There is always a chance, but the Canes are playing really well now. If the Canes should beat them at home, I would say that the Oilers chances are slim to none. I say GO CANES!!

Yea there is a chance, but since Roley is out, the future doesn't look bright. Neither Markenen and Conklin are very good.
