that whole little thing about there being no weapons of mass destruction, which was Bush's reasoning for going to Iraq. And, they conveniently dismiss the fact that Bin Laden was in Afghanistan, not Iraq and why we aren't there, I have no idea. And in light of all this misinformation, they sitll support Bush and the war. How is that possible? Or, am I the one who's delusional?

1. The facts are there were WMD. Saddam had many WMD labs and had produced WMD and had used WMD against Iran and the Kurds. That these facts are even being questioned is outrageous. [see 1st link]

2. President Bush, and the other 30+ nations in the coalition, had numerous reasons for going to war. The president and his administration repeated these numerous reasons time and time again in the long lead up to the conflict. Yes, WMD and Saddam's continued failure to meet the terms of the UN ceasefire agreement were main reasons. [see 2nd link]

3. We did go into Afghanistan to oust the Taliban and seek bin Laden. Iraq was for different reasons, but also because they had supported Al-Qaeda and had established training camps for them, and were otherwise supporting terrorism in Palestine, too.

4. You're not delusional, you are just either staggeringly ill informed, or you are willfully ignorant. Perhaps your unreasonable GOP-phobia has tainted your ability to see the facts as they are.

You're right but also there are a lot of Republicans who are finally
waking up to what Bush is really all about. His approval rating
and support for the war effort are at the lowest point ever.
It doesn't matter, though. When Bush was actually elected for
the second time, the U.S. became locked in a situation that can
only get worse.

No honey, you're not delusional, it's the Republican party that is delusional. They are the party that refuses to admit that they are wrong. They don't believe in thinking their actions through before acting. In other words, the old saying "it's my way or the highway" should be the republican credo. They don't understand the art of being humble nor compromising. The republican party is hubristic especially when you put someone in lead such as "G.W." And I don't mean George Washington ;)

Don't you remember the anti-drug campaign??? Don't use drugs it clouds your memory. You really don't think we found WMD's in Iraq....??? You see, that is why I have high security clearance and you do not...you don't need to know!! Just let us protect your lazy a$$ and make you feel all warm in comfortable hiding in your special little place wondering why everyone stares at you when you are in public. Now hide your head in the ground and it will all be better...or click your shoes together like Dorothy.

The repuglicans that are left to support Bush are in category's, too dumb to care, to stupid to know, and the more mentally diminished who are oblivious to anything that go on around them. The last group are the ones that think that he makes them feel safe. I think it is idiots supporting an idiot like one of their own. They can relate to his inability to make a decision on his own.
