Yes, I enjoy it. I prefer classical poets, though - I find a lot of the modern (ie 21st Century) poets are very self-centred.

IMy favourite sort of poetry describes the world in a way that makes it new to me, makes me see things differently.

Although I admit there are a few poems that are hard to understand the majority of them are simple enough.
I have written over 40 poems and everyone who's read them has had no difficulty with them.

That is a very judgemental statement ...instead of reading poetry I suggest you widen your knowledge of the world and its people..and learn not to label people in a stereo -typical way.

I try. Occasionally the metaphysical poetry (Marvel, Donne) has me stumped (only sometimes!), but I love reading fluid, eloquent, elegant literature of all kinds.
Try Antoine de St-Exupery's prose...

Read it, write it and even enjoy it. Favourite Poet is Phillip Larkin or Rudyard Kipling I can even understand W.H.Longfellow.

I love poetry,If you ask most people to quote a poem they have not got a clue.I think everyone should know at least one poem.
