I think the Metal Gear Solid-Series is the best

Although I agree with you The Boss, that MGS is an amazing series (I Can't wait for MGS4, if PS3 was gonna cost me a $1000, I'd get it for MGS4 anyway).
But as far as the best game of all time? Either Pac-Man or Super Mario Brothers for NES. Both games are timeless fun and created a big market for the rest of the video games out there (if you ask me).
MGS3 has the best storyline I've ever seen in a game, INCLUDING Final Fantasies. By Far. I couldn't do it at the end (If you've beat the game, you know what "it" is I would assume). I just don't wanna spoil any of it for those who haven't played it.

If you're talking EVER then you have to consider some of the classics like Pacman, Space Invaders, etc. These were global hits, and are some of the best recognized games of all time.
But if you're talking about the modern era then I would have to say on of the Grand Theft Auto series, probably Vice City or maybe San Andreas. My second place would go to Legend of Zelda: Occarina of time. And third place would go to Halo (the first one).

Hm, I definitely think the Final Fantasy series is among the best! I like the older ones the best!

My Husband would say Final Fantasy the older ones and I'd say Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2

Personally i think it's Sonic, he kicks th **** of of Mario any day, and he is still a big franchise now.
But i have to admit that metal gear is good, all that stuff about Big Boss being snakes mum......
Better than a soap opera!
