You can forgive particulary if it concerns another menber of the family. Life is so short and family is everything. If you have no family you have nothing. Just ask yourself is money everything!
The person who passed away has gained nothing , was the money worth it! I think not. What you have to do is way up the pro's and con's.If that family member has done irretrivable damage then they are not worth it, but if it was a miscalculation on their behalf they have not benifitted. To lose a family must be the lonleyist feeling in the world. So you should forgive for your sanity alone. Hope this helps!!

You can always forgive, even though it's harder when family does wrong to other family.

If the person who did the wrong has passed away, forgiveness should come easily- Iit's time to think hard about what they meant to you, and you must be doing that. In the end, whatever wrong they did, they were just trying to be happy like everyone else. Maybe you can't understand their actions, but they must have had some kind of a reason in their own mind.

Now, they have nothing to gain whether you forgive them or not- that's my belief. If you can bring yourself to forgive them however, the bad emotion that you are feeling will be released. There's no point in continuing to let it bother you, nothing to be lost by it... I'd just forgive and let go.

I'm sure it's hard. It's never easy to forgive, but it's the better road to take. It's strange, but some people believe that forgiveness is the only way to feeling better about the situation. My family had a similar problem (well my mum's family) but they forgave and now, after time, it's forgotten. A lot of the time forgiving starts with forgiving yourself for letting something happen or for letting things get too far and sometimes it's the hardest thing to do but, if you forgive you can move on.

Good Luck

It's better to forgive and take high road whenever possible but getting to you question. A family is like a water body and when one of the member does something that hurts it, it is like casting a stone into the water it will only cause ripples, even a Tsunami can only upset the ocean for a while after that the water reclaims it in its fold.

Similarly when it comes to family we always forgive sooner or later, also keep away from matters involving someone else's family. No matter how annoyed they are initially with their own they always harmonise among themselves, and finally shoot the messenger.

Forgive and forget. Move on. When one does wrong and gets away with whatever through mans laws. You can rest asure that they can not escape GODS laws. Don't let others negative actions steal your sunshine. I know from the same experience. My mom stole my childrens inheritance. It is not always easy to follow the forgive and forget thing but give it a try. Try to find the good in the situation and move on to your happy future.

I have had to cut communication and association with several of my relatives. If it is not good for you get rid of it...quote from my Great Aunt. That seems to work for me. I don't like drama. Once someone brings me drama, no more communication with that person. I forgive, pray for them and move on.

You cant just decide to forgive someone. You really have to mean it. You have to work it out in your mind and heart. Only then will you be able to go on with your life without dwelling on this issue.

In the long run all you have in the end is your family.

You can pick you friends but not your family!!!!

It is best to forgive but one will never forget!!
