Nothing, if you are content with what you have. Invention is a product of necessity.
In asking for a description of a job performed by an invention the answer would be none. The invention would have to be conceived within a human brain first. That would be the first Job. In the second place the machine would then have to be set in motion by a human if only to flip a switch which is a job if assigned. All jobs are initiated by man. Machines are being invented with artificial intelligence, when the first machine is able to conceive & construct another machine then we can call it a job well done.

a pocket automatic lottery ticket scratcher . you can make it the size of a business card but thicker , you would put the ticket in one side and inside there would be sandpaper or something , when it comes out the other side it is all scratched off , you wold have to make it as small as possible for it to be convenient

or an attachment that goes on the back of a regular truck that powerwashes parking lots , people pay big money for that , if you could set it up were all you have to do is drive slow while water shoots out behind the tailgate that would be very helpfull , i just had somebody power wash my parking lot and it took them over a week , this may already exist
