You don't get rid of oily skin, you manage it. Cleanse & moisturize with oil-free products. Use an alcohol or witchhazel based toner after cleansing. Don't overcleanse as you will only exascerbate the problem (no more than twice a day). Never go to bed with a dirty face.Try the mineral make-ups. They're wonderful. I love Jane Iredale pressed foundation it's a powder but covers like a liquid & Nutregena also makes pressed or loose mineral foundation. You can use loose or pressed powder for shine or a little cornstarch. You can use oil-blotting tissues which will soak up the oil but will not disturb your make-up or allow it to cake up. Remember when you apply your powder or cornstarch for the shine pat do not rub. Good luck, I'm sure you're beautiful. One more tip, make sure you use oil-free sunscreen daily & never ever go into tanning beds, if skin cancer doesn't scare you the wrinkles will. You'll turn into a dried up piece of leather. I'm 40 years old, use sun screen daily, have never been in a tanning bed & I don't have a wrinkle or line on my face, but unfortunately I did find a grey hair the other day. OMG, I guess I'll have to start using hair dyes by the time I'm 45. Oh well, If I could only lose 10lbs & have a tummy tuck (2 kids) I might pass for my 18 y/o daughter's sister. Good Luck.

u can follow some simple steps:
1. wash regularly using some mild face wash(3-4 times a day).
2. use cleansing milk in night to remove deposited dirt.
3. don't apply any oily cream(we already have a rich deposit).
4. and if u are wearing a makeup, wear it for a smaller duration and wash it off as soon as possible as it accelerates dirt accumulation. oily skin has natural glow(no need of makeup. instead a oil control cream is sufficient)

Try Neutrogena facial cleansers. They make products for all skin types. I've tried the one for oily skin and even though I also have sensitive skin, I find I can use this one. It helped with my oily skin.

Hey dude, I'm Italian and my skin isn'rt oily at all. Don't blame on Italians your greasy skin, if you were really Italian, than you'd know that in our country (ITALY) our groceries and supermakets sell any type of products, for normal, oily and even dry skin!

I wonder why all of you Americans with Italian ancestry have oily skin...change your diet, and stop writing bullshits.
