Mine is the Asian Giant Hornet (Vespa mandarinia Smith) It is a huge Japanese wasp about the size of your thumb. It is brightly colored and has a huge 1/4" stinger. It hunts honeybees in Japan and about 30 of these killers can destroy a nest of 30,000 in about 3 hours.
