I call them "wooly worms" I'm not sure if that's their given name or not. I guess they'd just be caterpillars or something. The brown and black, furry guys. Me and my dad used to ride our bikes and search for them.

Mine is the Asian Giant Hornet (Vespa mandarinia Smith) It is a huge Japanese wasp about the size of your thumb. It is brightly colored and has a huge 1/4" stinger. It hunts honeybees in Japan and about 30 of these killers can destroy a nest of 30,000 in about 3 hours.
