Why is it when a liberal can not argue someones point, they must attack that person with lies?
I have seen post after post attacking Ann Coulter for "attacking innocent widow's"
Do the liberals who do this have any idea what she actually said?
Or do they just repeat crap they hear from their fellow liberal's skewed interpretation?
Do you think being a widow gives you the right to preach a political point of view without someone being allowed to contradict them?
I believe Ann described it the best on Hannity and Colmes, when she said, "It is like a bully on the playground running around hitting people, and when you say something to them, he cries, 'my mommy died'". Do you let the kid run around hitting the childeren?

se roddy, once again you have shown your simple little mind, and embarrassed yourself.
Yes, Ann called 4 specific,, that is right 4 specific, individual, widows witches. Not every widow you moron. You just did exactly what I said you libs are doing. Taking the word of another skewed interpretation. Wow, you are unbelievable.

Watching a show with a conservative, and a liberal (Hannity and Colmes) makes me closed minded, lmao. What logic are you going by?

simple and clean, which one of those quotes were supposed to make me not like her?
I read about 60% of them, and liked most of them. I'm sure if you take one quote out of context, you can find a reason not to like it.

Yep, you are doing exactly the same thing I mentioned above
She was talking about 4 specific people. She made it very clear that she did not group everyone that lost someone in that tragedy with the same 4 people. Why can't you listen?

Yeah, colmes is moderate, (for a liberal). He is not as crazy wacky left as some of you guys.
Could you kindly tell me a show on cnn, or abc, or what every channel you think is 'balanced' where they have a conservative to contradict the liberals?
I'll bet one doesn't exist. So to say Hannity and colmes is not a fair show, is being hypocritical.
Yes, colmes gets shot down a lot. That is because he is trying to defend liberal ideas that have no backbone.

Really well then read this
9/11 widows attacked for 'enjoying deaths of their husbands'
By Francis Harris in Washington
(Filed: 09/06/2006)
American conservatism's queen of toxic rhetoric, Ann Coulter, has sparked nationwide fury by describing a group of September 11 widows as "witches" revelling in and profiting from their husband's deaths.
Miss Coulter, a blonde who mixes harsh anti-liberal soundbites with short skirts and figure-hugging tops, made the accusations in her new book Godless: The Church of Liberalism.
Now shove it up your ***.

Here my opinion: Once you put yourself in the political spotlight, like these women did, you're fair game. While I feel for them and their loss, to use it for political purposes, which far too many people do, is despicable. While I don't care for Ann Coulter or very many right-wing or left-wing hatemongers, she had every right to say what she said. These were not "innocent" widows. They were widows using their loss for political gain. They were attacked, not because they are 9/11 widows, but because they freely chose to use that as a political tool.
Ann, like she always does, saw that "decency line", and took off running. That's what she does. I would expect nothing less.
If you don't open yourself up to attack, attacks against you are more difficult.
It's not about civilized debate. It hasn't been for a long time. Left-wing and Right-wing pundits are just a bunch of monkeys slinging crap at each other. No one should expect to enter that jungle and not get a little on them.

I saw the interview and honestly, that could have been Hillary Clinton or Nancy Pelosi or Jesus Christ and I would have still been outraged. Is anyone saying this about Nick Berg's dad? Nope. Even so, when you lose someone you love to such a horrific disaster, you come back and tell me how you feel when they are insulted. I lost 5 friends on 9/11 and honestly the interview made me cry. The average American was sad that day, the people directly affected were devastated.
Being a widow does not give you the right to "preach" a political point, being American does. And as Lauer said, when have they ever said that you cannot contradict them? I don't believe Coulter answered that question. I believe she continued to talk over him, as she does during every panel discussion.
And no, you comfort the child and listen to his feelings, you don't try to silence him because you don't agree with what he says.
At some point people, we are going to have to draw a line of decency about what you support just because whomever says it is a representative of your political party.
P.S. I just have to ask, even though its not really pertinent, but why was she wearing a cocktail dress on a morning show? Did anyone else find this odd?

first of all, I've never seen a kid use that excuse. 2nd, you can't compare a hypothetical situation like that to adults who have lost loved ones in combat and who are trying to bring awareness to stopping the war. 3rd, it's not just liberals who "attack" people with "lies", the right does it as well. But seeing as you actually listen to someone like Ann and watch ridiculous shows like Hannity and Colmes tells me you're very narrow-minded and probably brainwashed by their rhetoric.
"Just more spending and give away to increase their voting base."
Interesting statement because that is exactly what Bush has done. 100 billion in Iraq and counting, plus tax breaks to that voting base you're talking about. Government has gotten bigger and spending is through the roof under the Bush administration.
One more note, Colmes the liberal on Hannity and Colmes isn't a liberal, he's a moderate at best who has so little prescence on the show that there is never a balance of the issues instead it always tips in the right's favor. Fox News in general is sensationalist biased garbage news. Instead of actual journalism, Fox News emphasizes stories that cater to the right wing party line and stories that get ratings but really do nothing to add to the national discourse. When one of your news anchors who is supposed to be an objective journalist becomes the Spokesman for the President of the United States, it proves how biased Fox News is. Mainstream media in general is garbage. They make a big deal out of Al Zarqarwi when if you look at the facts he was an ineffectual leader who was demoted by Al Qaeda and a failure in general. It's not going to change anything in Iraq. It just means someone more competant is going to replace him.

Why does all and sundry even pay interest to Coulter. the merely reason that she receives any interest is because she is an anorexic who wears skirts as a lot as her lulu. all and sundry can enhance her har 2 ft and placed on skirts as a lot as there. Ann isn't some thing particular.

Is that like following Molly Ivins or Art Buchwald! Funny how the left ignores it's own fourth estate atrocities and then condemns an opposing thought. No wonder the left is losing in every election the faith of America.
Ann is hard and cold! But does make valid points. The left Hates valid points!

A sample of her heartfelt, truthful book: (so very sarcastically said)
In "Godless: The Church of Liberalism," the uncompromisingly right-wing Coulter writes the Jersey Girls have no right to criticize President Bush or any of the failures that led to the terror attacks.
"These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by grief-arazzis," Coulter writes.
"And by the way, how do we know their husbands weren't planning to divorce these harpies? Now that their shelf life is dwindling, they'd better hurry up and appear in Playboy. . .
"These self-obsessed women seemed genuinely unaware that 9/11 was an attack on our nation and acted as if the terrorist attacks happened only to them."
This is an outright attack. Pose for Playboy? C'mon! Even Bill O'Reily was surprised.

I wonder why the Dem's don't have an Ann Coulter...
Instead they have Micheal Moore, made one movie and got attacked insanely for two years over it. Remember that, Rep's always talk about how fat he is..
How bout them Dixie chicks, said ONE sentence and got attacked forever.
Ann Coulter says some rediculous comments and get's a bye by politicians and the media. It's by far one-sided and you really don't have a case here...

They repeat just like lil parrots what they hear other liberals saying.Sad isn't it that they cannot come up with an original thought to support their position instead of being puppets.
No fear though Ann Coulters is solid and far too intelligent to be affected by a bunch of parrots :)

She did what she did not to respond but to sell her book.
Her defence is that they were politically aligned with Kerry. How does that attack come up as a political response and not just hate. I think she is the bully. If two bullies are on the playground they just attack the weak doesnt matter what their political views are.
Good Luck and God Bless!!
