why is everybody going goth i mean its totaly gay so why r people going goth?

I agree it is very gay, my best response to this is maybe not enough huggs as a child or to many sittings on grandpa's lap for a Worthers Orignal....there just starved for attention an thats there outlet before they come out of the closet...there gayer than 2 boys screwing at a rest stop!

I have no clue but it is disturbing and I totally agree that this form of "expression" needs to stop. Black can be good but not when it clashes with the total whiteness of their skin. This is a fashion nightmare and any parent should be shunned unless they buy their children new clothes. The parents need to take a firm grasp of the problem and not just shrug it off as a faze rather take a stand. STOP THE GOTH and maybe America will be a better place to live.

Hun, it's a phase... just like a lot of fads going on right now... In high school I was goth. When I look back on the way I dressed (and the way ALL the kids were dressing) I have to laugh.... Now at 23 years old and 2 children later, I couldn't care less how much my shoes cost, or how my hair looks, or what brand of jeans I'm wearing...

I know it's difficult for you to believe now, but one day you won't care either... LOL

It's one of the ironies of life. People strive to establish their individuality by not acting like the masses. Unfortunately, there are so many people wanting to be unique that you have a group of people all being individual in the same way and end up being catagorized as a unit. For example, the goths.

Why do you care? Does it really affect your life if people decide to choose that lifestyle? Instead of hating, why don't you show tolerance and just let them do what they do. I'd be that most of them will grow out of it as the majority of people obsessed with the goth culture are teenager and early adults who haven't matured fully yet.

Not everyone, it might seem like it though because many people are starting to notice it, and many celebs are trying to put on a show trying to be rock/punk or goth, or whatever you call it.

Even if they have moral issues with it, grown-ups don't call something 'gay' if they don't like it. Secondly being gothic is a choice of an individual, so if you don't like goths, don't 'go goth'. To each their own sweetheart. Alot of people could say your style is "gay" but its all yours so why would you fret.
Dont worry about what others do or wear. Thats their business and not yours to worry about. If you dont like it. Dont hang out with them or look at them. Just walk onnnnnnn by!
