If your browser is switching pages without you clicking on anything, you probably have some kind of browser hijacker (a type of spyware). Recommend you download and run a couple of anti-spyware programs like Ad-aware and Spybot, then install Microsoft Defender to reduce future infections. (All are free downloads).

Then get yourself a copy of Firefox (another free download) to use instead of Internet Explorer. Because it is only used by about 5-10% of people on the Internet, Firefox has not been hit as much by viruses, spyware and hijackers (why write something for all 5% of the people?).

Format and reinstall is the best thing to do.
