What i'd say is nobody can really tell when and you may not have any thunderstorms but usually in really hot weather you may see some heat lightening flashing in the sky and sometime when you have heat lightening their is also thunder to.

The air is still sinking at the moment, so we are all right. But once a cold air mass comes through we will be back to normal!
I think it SHOULD be okay until at least next week (the one starting 12th) but I'm not sure beyond that.
