Im almost 16 and my boyfriend is almost 18 so...could anyone help me out please?

In the state of Ohio (can't speak for other states) it is legal for you to date due to a "2year coushion". However you start having sex and your parents find out about, they can press charges because they are legal guardians....

You can date them technically, but if you are having sex once he's 18, then yes. You are still considered a minor in the eyes of the court, so if sex is involved he could be jailed. As far as going places, that depends if you mean like go out to eat or something that's cool, going out of town that's not good at all, going out of town with him or even worse across state lines once again he could be jailed.

To hang out... it legal in most countries. To have sex, then it depends on the age of consent in the country you live. Many places it is 18, some it is 16. And some countries actually have delta excemptions. In other words, if your difference in age is less than a certain amount of years, it is legal.

What do you mean by "be with?"
If you are referring to sexual relations, you are a minor and he needs to keep his hands off you.
If you are asking about a casual date or going to the mall, of course it's okay. But what an 18 year old sees in an ALMOST 16 year old is beyond me. And if it's sex, he's going to find himself in JAIL if he doesn't watch it.

Depends on what state you live in. Also,the age is a very specific thing. For example, in my state, if you still happen to be15 when he turns 18, then it is possible for your parents to file statutory rape charges against him. Also, if the above age situation has happened, and you are out at night with him, (assuming your city has a curfew) if he's pulled over, he could get charged with contributing to the deliquency of a minor. Best to find out about the specific laws in your state.

no its not illegal since u are 16. if u were 15 it might be. and it also really depends only on what ur mom says about it right now.

In Georgia its legal to just hang out as long as he has you back home before the minor curfew which is 12 midnight

nope legal age for sex in UK is 16. No law saying you can't go places with older people either. If there were you wouldn't be allowed out with your paretns, would you?

Depends on where you live. If he has sex with you, he could go to jail. You do not have to say that it was rape or not. If someone files a complaint, whether you were willing or not, he can still be arrested

wait till your 16 other wise parents can press charges if anything extra goes on when your 16 the judge has to take your word into account and if your rents dont like him you can be sure they will think of the sex angle ....... i would if it was my daughter
