Since I just reached level 4, I thought I'd ask a question. Does anyone else have Firefox browser in addition to IE? I got it last night and it solved a problem IE explorer was repeatedly encounterning. I'm totally impressed. I also notice it is much FASTER to load the pages than with IE.

How is it working for you?

Sweet! I've never heard anything negative about it. I wish I would have started using it a long time ago. :)

Yes Speed is the Speciality of Fire Fox and i'll give you one more Secret to increase speed of FireFox.. .... and sure Firefox is better than IE but not than IE 7.0 not beta... i know it's mind blowing Features since i'm working on it! anyway here's way to increase speed of FireFox!
------------------------------------- >>
Load Web Pages At Lighting Speed
Once you've loaded up firefox go to the address bar and type "about:config" without the quotes. Right click and select New>Integer. Name the integer "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" without the quotes. Change the integers value to 0. What this does is tells firefox to wait 0 milliseconds before loading the page so the page loads extremly fast.

Yes, Firefox is faster than IE 5/IE 6 on displaying images, and it renders the web pages progressively (any bytes downloaded is displayed soon).
This is why Firefox looks faster on displaying pages, because you see the page sooner. IE renders web pages all of them and then displaying it after it reaches tag (the end of any HTML pages).
But if you are a web designer using IE as your test of load display, you can always be sure that if your pages load fast in IE, the result is quite the same with Firefox!
On IE 7, the speed is the same, since IE 7 is rebuilding its image display engine and also adding tabbed browser support.

I love firefox, it's my primary browser. Unfortunately, my virus software requires IE in order to update, so I still have to have it. May I also suggest Opera as a browser. It is way faster than IE & firefox ever thought of being & you can browse multiple websites without opening multiple windows, the only problem is that there are still a few sites that don't support it.

I got firefox a few months ago for the same reason, and I despise having to use IE now.

It's a great program!

Love Firefox. Google just came out with an extension to your settings on their servers, so if you have multiple computers you get your bookmarks wherever you go!
