I assume by "plater" you mean "player". Well, I dare say he is ONE of the best the world has ever seen and very soon to be THE BEST the world has ever seen. OK so Nadal is a good player but the truth is that you're not considered a "grate" player unless you can play very well on all surfaces. Now, Federer can do that while Nadal can only play good on clay courts. So, anyways Nadal can't possibly be the best player at any time. I think some of the answers here aren't very nice about Federer and that's not fair. Because for those who know what REAL TENNIS is, it's pretty obvious that he plays some magnificent tennis other wise he wouldn't be the world Number 1 for so long. Even though Nadal is Number 2, he's points are about half of Federer's points and that is something considerable. No doubt that Federer plays some fascinating tennis.
Good luck Roger! Hope you win Roland Garros! :)

I think roger could be the greatest tennis player of all time but in time-the guy can come up with shots that you havent seen before but I was disaapointed with his performance in the french open-i didnt think he played to his full potential. I am certain he will win the tournament next year Hes going to win wimbledon anyway-nadal has no chance

If he wins on Sunday, he will be the first man ever to win all four grand slams and consecutively too. A Guinness book of records achievement.
