You must love you enemies as people, but you do not have to accept the things they do.
Or, as Don Corleone said "Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer".

Try not to think of them as enemies but as people who don't understand you and that's why you don't get along. Don't hate them though because hate spreads like cancer and will eventually consume you when you see them laugh out loud but not at them unless you want a bop in the nose I find it releases negative tension and they might think you have gone mad and leave you alone.

Litteraly turn the other cheek. Don't harbour any resentment or revenge against them. Don't even think about it. The thought energy will gather and rebound against you. Definately don't do any revengful act. The Universe will sort them out. This might sound a little weird but try to send them loving thoughts and that their spirit will learn from this experience and will allow them to grow that they do not harm others in the same way they did you to make them your enemy.

Enemies comes after hatred therefore to overcome this hatred love more and cares more. Hatred cant be defeated by more hatred but with more love.
