My dad used to tell me to go to the dead sea and grab a handful of silt and put it on my face.

Neutrogena makes really good cleansers for oily skin and acne. You might want to try them. Also, if they are severe, consider going to a doctor. Sometimes no over the counter products will work. Prescription medicine did wonders for my 2 sons (ages 14 and 16). I wish my folks had taken me to a doctor when I was their age. I'd have suffered less.

Don't pick at them or they will scar. Some doctors will give an antibyotic with a cream to help (cheap way). Expensive way is Proactive. It really does work great. I have met many people who have used it and it's unreal. Also, you can go to a dermatologist. Hope this helped. :-)

Apply any ointment which contains 5% benzoyl peroxide. If you keep it overnight it makes a visible difference in just 7 days. It tends to dry out your skin so don't apply it liberally.

Prevention is better then cure. Don't point at your friends when they get it and it won't appear on you :P
