That's a tough question. But I'd say my all time favorite movie is Citizen Kane.

Um, if I can expand that answer by defining favorites by genre, then:

Animated: Pinocchio (Toy Story and Toy Story 2 are #s 2 & 3)
Drama: Heat (Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro, Val Kilmer, Ashley Judd)
Comedy: Blazing Saddles (maybe); HIstory of the World Part I, There's Something About Mary
Film Noir: Out of the Past; Double Indemnity; Kiss Me Deadly
French: Round Midnight, Diva
Suspense: Rear Window, Shadow of a Doubt, The 39 Steps, North by Northwest
70s: Soylent Green, Planet of the Apes, Across 110th Street
Western: Unforgiven, The Wild Bunch, Pale Rider, El Dorado, The Searchers

I'd better stop there. Good luck and happy viewing

If you're looking for a romance. I just saw a great film. Kinda on the older side. But very good story. It's called "Somewhere In Time". With Chris Reeves 2 months before his accident. Basically, I like it cause it's bases on a young mans love for once. That he meets and old woman and travels back in time and falls in love with her.
Let me know what you think.

If you want a laugh. I love "Rush Hour" and "Rush hour 2". Also "Weekend at Bernie's 1 & 2" are very good as well! These 4 movies are probably easier to find.

Yeah...for drama, "Shawshank" is good. For comedy, try "Blazing Saddles". And for action, just about anything with Harrison Ford, I don't know if "Firewall" is out yet, but if not maybe "Patriot Games" or one of the Indiana Jones movies.

Oh, if you haven't seen "Million Dollar Baby" yet, that'll bring tears to your eyes!

How old are your boys? National Treasure is a great movie for adults and kids, boys should love it, mine does!

Princess Bride is one of my wife's favorites and the kids can see it also!

Good luck, have a great weekend!
