The Verve were simply awesome live, I am lucky to have a copy of their Live at Haigh Hall in Wigan CD.
Nick McCabe is simply a fantastic guitarist, does anyone have transcribed music for guitar ? (guitar Tablature)

+ah the verve-only got a northern soul and urban hymns by them-but oh yes i loved them dearly in their short period of genius-it goes to show that although richard has had sucess as a solo artist theres always that little touch of guitar invention missing from whatever he does-mccabes stuff was brilliant in that most of the time you didnt even notice he was there but boy did you miss it if he wasnt!i never saw them live but i saw gigs on the tv and it always struck me that mccabe seemed to be in a world of his own out there-he never really stayed with the rhythm of a piece,it was like the band were doing that and his job was to sort of fill in the gaps and embellish what he was hearing the rest of them doing with little fills and strange solos-if you want the tab to any music its really easy to get-just type in the name of who you want along with tab and all the options you can handle will appear as if by magic-anyway-way too hot to be stayin in-enjoy the music and enjoy the summer-have fun fellow enthusiast and goodbye

Erm... sorry to disagree but they were surely the most turgid of the 'Britpop'/ 'Cool Britannia' bands and given that their inspiration extended only as far as ripping off the riff from the Rolling Stones The Last Time for their only hit of note, I'm certain the word 'genius' could never be applied to them.....
