India is progressing as much as the people in power are helping and sometimes hindering the path of progress depending on the various levels.. however, times are better now from what they were...!!
considering communications, there was a time when people had to wait for about 2-3 years to get a fixed telephone connection. now india has crossed 10 crore mark (100 million users) of mobile phones....so.. India is developing.. coming to myopic view points of people like reggae... its alright there tend to be people with pessimistic views.. however those people have rights too.. like right to express freely...so lets ignore them.. there is no need to report them..

In movies and music....yes, in man power development and technology....yes, but there is still alot they need to improve on. The idea dat there may be alot of bent corners in their Pharmaceutical industries gives me cause for concern. But in all i think with a focused leadership the sky is the limit.

Yep, really fast.
It is polluting a lot too, like China does and the US.
None of them as much as the uS though, but they add in pollution.
