Has anybody ever ordered Clomid online without a prescription and has anyone ever used generic clomid. I have found websites through which it is possible to do this, but I am curious about the overal effectiveness and safety.

Honestly.......I wouldn't self medicate. When you get to using fertility drugs you run the risk of over medicating or using meds in a harmful way. Being monitored on these drugs is VERY important. VERY IMPORTANT!

I have taken the generic for Clomid and ovulated every time (didn't help me get pregnant, but I did ovulate). I would never take it without a prescription. The directions for Clomid administration varies from person to person. People take different dosages and on different days of their cycle. In some cases, Clomid can also caused ovarian overstimulation, which I hear is quite painful and needs professional monitoring.
So, since you don't know what dose to take and when to take it and also don't know how you will respond to it, Clomid is neither effective nor safe.

you may not need it to be a presription to take clomid but it is not your best bed. I am starting on my second round of clomid and while taking clomid you have to have ultra sounds done to see if it is making you ovulate more or not. If you just take clomid and keep taking you dont know if it's working or if it is doing any good at all. I would not advise you to take it without seeing a doctor first and clomid is usually the first thing a doctor will put you on. Good luck and please dont take clomid without your doctor knowing about it first

You need to have a docotr monitor you when you take clomid. You'd be nuts to take any kind of medication like clomid without being monitored

I have heard that you don't need to take clomid unless prescribed by your doctor. You may end up with 5 kids!

It does sound like you've pcos with having severe testosterone and no classes. Why do you need to attend? you want to get your cycles regulated. perchance you may want to ask for Provera to help "leap commence" a clean cycle and Clomid which could assist you ovulate.
