I find it absurd in a horrible, frightening way. I have no clue why the legislators are pandering to the Latino community instead of listening to their constituents, who, by and large, are totally opposed to this! Most people have no problem with legal immigration. It is the fact that 12 million are here illegally and now they could be given a 'free' pass. It's wrong. We need to punish the companies who are hiring these illegals because if they don't have jobs, they won't come here. And if they're already here, they'll leave if they have no job. I have no idea why the media is ignoring the majority of Americans who are concerned about this.

Yes, it is absurd. Let's reward people who've broken the law. Let's label anyone who questions this action as racist.
Looking at the big picture, America will slide further down the economic drain. More immigrants will come, expecting the same treatment. More will be let in, as the government further caves into their demands. In the next 15 years, we could see an additional 50 million illegal immigrants in this country, stressing the social services sector even further than it already is. In about another 50 years, we will be a third-world nation.

They are matters that may best be learned after countless numbers and countless numbers of trials. And of direction, strict restrict demands to be in location. However, considering that the groundwork of technological know-how is constantly replacing as a result of new discoveries, we have got to even have sympathy to the drug corporation as good. They aren't miracle makers, they simply attempt to make earnings through promoting whatever that they "consider" would support different persons. Imagine the arena with out antibiotics and different cure, what number of persons could need to die? If we agree that technological know-how may also be transformed, the drug corporation would now not have an excuse of growing cure expenses considering that of legislation go well with. Also if we appear at every other discipline that has used the socialist method it has slowed down and did not are living as much as its Utopian promise. No method is excellent however open and loose marketplace is the quality available in the market.

We have plenty of space for new immigrants because old immigrants really aren't having sustainable population growth. Other nations with low population growth due to low birth rates can't maintain the growth of their country, (ie.) look at Japan. So get your facts straight and knowledge base correct first. Population of LEGAL immigrants isn't our problem. We are a Democracy that encourages law-abiding growth. It's ILLEGAL immigration that is the problem.

Well Yes I do find it absurd. I think we should merge with Mexico and add them to the USA. I have no idea of the financial implications this would bring on us but it is an interesting question. At least we wouldn't have to worry about them drowning in the Rio Grande.

Most of these illegals are already in your country and cleaning your toilets, busing your tables & working in your factories. They are essential to you maintaining your comfortable lives.
The mainstream media have barely addressed it because their government don't want it to become an issue.
edit - the the girl above. Read up about American foriegn policy in central & south America then you will see how they cannot achive this in their own country.

'Americans' are only Eurpoean Immigrants anyway, so you can harldy complain about immigration now, that's how you got here in the first place. Except that your ancestors killed the native population, which isn't really the policy of the current immigrants, so surely they should be more welcome to this country than your ancestors were?

It's NOT an automatic pass to become an american citizen. Having said that, at least we will CONTINUE to have hard working people to "pick our cotton" and " clean the public toilets". Something I doubt YOU would do.
Leave these hard working people alone.

es no bien. I think they shoulg keep it the way it is, but i agree they should increase the surcurety there. I was here Illigally but my mother was born here. So i think all they should do is be more cautious about what people are doing and what they are bringing with them.
