I mean, can you name a few books that deal with fantasy, magic (apart from The Lord of the Rings and Narnia - I have read those ) and are well written?

Thanks

If you like that genre then you would love to read "The Talisman" by Stephen King. It is a book about a boy on a quest for a magic talisman to save his mother's life. You will find other world's and many types of magic. It is a great epic. My husband is a big fan of Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, his new favorite is Talisman. good luck. enjoy

Of course, there 's Lord of the Rings. But you said you already read it. There's also the Silmarillion, the Lost tales and lots of other Middle-Earth literature by Tolkien.

And if you want some non Middle-Earth stuff, there's the Wheel of Time series. It's kind of dull after you have Lord of the Rings to compare it too but it's still really good.

And, of course, there's the ancient litterature that fantasy was based on in the first place. Like Beowlf or The Edda. And they're available online because there's no copyright (they're free).

Look for an upcoming new artist named Shirley Witner. She is the next J.K. Rowling. Her new book will be out in around 4-6 weeks!
