For myself it's because money can support a good lifestyle for myself and the persons I care for. Besides that gives my surplus of money the chance to do good things / support good projects that help the less fortunate in the world. This way I don't only have a rich life financially.

Because we are human beings we need happinesses in life and for getting these happinessess we need money and for getting money we are working so hard. If you can get money in a 1 click then no one will be poor.
