Of course we are told he was the leader of Al-Qaeda. But many people are being killed everyday without even a fair trial. Who is Bush to say that justice was done with one action or another?

“Of course we are told he was the leader of Al-Qaeda.” …In his videos transmitted by a hostile source. “. But many people are being killed everyday without even a fair trial.” Are you talking about L.A. or New York City…How about Detroit, or the murder capitol of America Washington D.C.? Or just the citizen to citizen crime in Iraq?
Saddam representing the minority garnered control and kept the peace as a gangster and thug. A lesson well learned by some there, a burden most there want to lift. You seem to side with the gangster part. ? When America imprisoned Al Capone, Killed Bonnie and Clyde, slaughter Machine Gun Kelly…did that not make a difference?
Please learn history!

No it wasn't. There is no justice-- Just us.

How many fair trials did Zarqawi give? Fair goes out the window where people like that are concerned. *LOL* I wonder what effect your complaint about fairness would have had if YOU were his prisoner.

I know what thoughts would be going through your head just before they cut YOUR throat. You be wishing someone had killed the SOB a long time ago.

Justice? No. If real justice would have been served, he'd have had a long, slow, agonizing death. That, sir, would have been justice.

He was simply killed. For his complicity in the brutal and horrendous deliberate murder of 1,000's of innocent people in order to prevent them from being free and living in peace.

There is no doubt he was an al-Qaeda leader. Hell, even al-Jazeera would tell you he was, and they're as pro-terrorist as they come.

So we all know that your don't have a clue. I don't suppose Zarqawi's brutal beheading of an American justifies this attack? I don't suppose that Zarqawi's reign of terrorism and thousands of related deaths is justification? Instead of asking idiotic questions like this, you should go back to your Playstation 2. Reality is clearly too much for you to handle.

Lets see Zarqawi was a leader a major terrorist group who tortured and caused people grief and you want him to have a fair trial? Even if he did have a trial he stiil would've been guilty and been dead anyway so whats your point?

Of course it wasn't "justice" but it sure as hell feels great. If we hauled him in, he'd just languish for decades in a cell. We're ALL better off with the man dead.

Yes! He was a horrible man who had an ideology that was very dangerous to the western world and his own people.

I believe that because of his crimes, they had to just get him however they could, and took the opportunity when it arose.

I am sure the soldiers would have rather had a Saddam-like capture, but sometimes it just doesn't work that way.
