It's sounds to me like is vaginitis. But to make sure you should consult your doctor. Vaginitis occurs when having intercourse when not lubricated properly. This can cause pain, swelling, redness and tenderness and infection. Treatment consist of antibiotics or yeast infection medication or both. You should avoid intercourse during treatment. As a precautionary measure, do not douch or take baths because it willmake things worse. Try to keep the area dry, avooid using tampons for now and wear some confortable cotton underwear.
After treatment, I would recommend some WATER base lubricant such as KYJelly to help prevent discomfort during intercourse. Also, talk to your partner for ways of helping you relax and for extra estimulation before intercourse.

But please, go to the doctor ASAP, only a doctor can diagnose your problem and this is just my guess.

Good luck.

It could be maybe he was in such a hurry that he didn't allow any foreplay and so you were not lubricated and he was rough during penetration. Take some pain reliever.

But if the pain persist after these precautions, then maybe you need to see a doctor. But you know your husband better, what do you think? Is he the type that sleeps around?

ouch! I would get to a doctor asap ... You may have some kind of infection!!!! Get there fast! I would not wait and have your husband checked our as well... This seems serious! Do not have sex anymore until you get medical help and attention for this and you know what is going on.
