It could be an ear infection, dehyrdration, you could be anemic also. Whatever it is, I would call the doctor about it, they'll probably ask what other symptoms have accompanied the dizziness. Have you been dizzy anymore? Anemia is basically low iron in your blood, you can check if you have real gold jewelry, scratch your face with the jewelry and if it makes a black mark, you're anemic, but if not, you're not. That's not an old wive's tale either.

Happens to me too. i was cold last night and went to sleep early. I got 10 hours sleep. I woke up and was lightheaded and dizzy. Blood sugar 93. I woke up and had coffee and a 1/2 bagel walked the dog and still had a lightheaded feeling. Last night my inner ear was beyond itchy so I am assuming it may be sinus/allerty or fluid in the ear canal that causes this so i am taking flonase. I go to the doctor on friday so i will ask her what it could be.

The inner ear infection sounds most likely but I had a similar problem from inhaling fumes from Fiberglas. It was so bad one time I couldn't lift my head off the pillow without losing control. I always use a respirator now. There are a few other things that could have the same results. If you were exposed to any chemical fumes yesterday that could be the cause.

it could be something as simple as dehydration or anemia (low red blood cell count, which means you need some iron). It could also be something a lot more serious. Vertigo (a sense of severe dizziness) can come from concussions, mild strokes, and the early onset of numerous neural disorders.

You do want to see a doctor.

When was the last time you ate? Try eating a little bit and drink some juice, milk, or water. If you are still dizzy a half hour after that you probably are sick and may want to contact your doctor. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.

it might be dehydration, try drinking some water or some juice if that doesnt helps then try some coffee.
if not then U R getting up way 2 quick & that is another way of making yur self dizzy cuz I had that problem B4. U might want 2 slow things down a bit & take it nice & slow.
trust me, it helps & works!!!

It can be alot of things, but to trace it down you must look at what you did the night before you went to bed.

1. Are you getting three meals a day
2. Lack of vitamins can cause this as well
3. Dehydration defnitiely is known factor

It could be a lot of things, starting with an ear infection. If you have ruled out the obvious, dehydration... Go to a doctor or ER don't drive.

Could be your sinuses are dry; are you taking antihistimes? That will dry you up and cause dizziness. Hydrate yourself drinking alot of water, stay off of the sodas and salt for a while. If this doesn't clear up, see your doctor.
