The chances of you getting TB from limited exposure are slim to none. Think about how many times you've been to a mall or a movie not knowing the health of the people around you. If you are healthy and not living with this person, you should be just fine. You might want to get a TB test at the health department to ease your mind. Good luck.

Always be cautious. Anyone with TB can pose a threat to people without the virus. I suggest getting an intradermal TB test done. It's virtually painless. A small needle is used to inject a TB dervitive into the dermis. Two days later the results are read to determine if you are infcted or not.

You do need to be concerned with anyone who tests positive with TB. Get a TB test to insure you're not infected. I would do it at any Medical Center. I just had one done yesterday in fact while I was in outpatient for Cocaine abuse.
