I got a copper IUD 7 weeks after I had my son he is now 6 months and I missed my period it should have been here May 16 but nothing not even spotting I have read that a woman with a copper IUD has an average of 4 miscairages a year and it is upsetting me I wasn't aware that you got pregnant at all they should explain better but I took a test 8 days after my missed period and then anouther 11 days after and the last 2 days I have had brandon hicks contractions I am realy worried I know they are contractions they wrap around to my back and last 5-8 seconds I remember them well from my 7 month preg with my son does any one know what is going on? I am exghausted all the time now and cannot consentrate and I feel like crying over everything can you be pregnant and not have it show up on a home pregnancy test? with my son it showed up 2 days before my period was due does the copper effect my ability to provide a place for the egg to grow and release hormones?

poor you, what a time you must be having right now. what i can tell you is when a foreign object such as a coil is placed in your body, then your body will naturally try and get rid of it, hence the contraction like pains you have been getting recently. hopefully these will settle down.
with regards to the 4 miscarriages, well that is certainly news to me but i would ask the doctor about that one before you start worrying yourself sick.
if i were you i would definitely get in touch with my doctor because something is going on with you. it could be a combination of things, your still a new mum and could be suffering from post natal depression, which can make you extremely emotional. I'm not saying your not pregnant but see your doctor to be sure.
i hope you get it all sorted out very soon. good luck :)

Oh no! That can't be good. I didn't think you could get braxton hicks contractions that early on though. I would say go to your doctor and get a blood test and if it is negative be reassured you are not pregnant. With all the negative tests you are probably not preggers but you need to know so you can get that terrible IUD out.

Yes, it is possible. YOU really should see your doctor. You could be pregnant and maybe have a tubal pregnancy or its just not showin up on home preg. tests. Back contractions are horrible, go to the doc.

call your docter and tell them you think you may be pregnant and you have had cramping that feels like it could be contractions and see what the docter says
