The reason people say that everything happens for a reason is not to make you or them selves feel right about it...
The nature of things happening beyond our control is that, I feel, angels are looking out for those of us that believe in the Lord and try to live good lives...
I really think if you just missed being hit by that oncoming car or truck, you were meant to miss it...
If you find money on the ground you were meant to find it...
If you missed your flight or cab or train, and then you hear of those vehicles crashing, you were not meant to die then...
I honestly believe if you miss being hurt in some way, shape or form, you were not intended to be hurt that time...
I believe things happen for a reason, and the reason is God's reason for you in your life...
Even those who do not believe in God, He has control of their life as well, and you will have things happen, and people will come in and out of your life, and you will live long, for a reason not your own...
This is what I believe as I have had many things happen to me in my life that were a near death situation and I would get out of it somehow...
I look back on these things and wonder how I came out of it...

People don't want to know why some stuff happens. This statement is a cop out. Also most people have watched a lot of TV and believe there is a reason or plot line that will explain everything. This is not true and a little unsettling to say the least.
The next time someone says that I would ask them why they believe everything happens for a reason. Talk about a conversation. have fun.

I also wondered that but just because everything happens for a reason doesn't mean that it has to feel good right away. Sometimes you will only find the reason after a long time and sometimes when it happens you will know straight away why it happened.

Not everything that happens in our lives is going to feel right! We have to experience the painful along with the good in order to appreciate all that there is!
I do believe that things happen for a reason. We learn and grow so much with change whether it is bad or good!
It's not always easy, but hang in there! Enjoy every fleeting moment!

When things happen to you that you don't understand at the time, usually bad things, you just have to believe that ALL THINGS HAPPEN FOR A REASON. Later on , down the road a bit, you see why they happened, and then you understand, and it was for your benefit. I have had a lot of things happen that I didn't understand at the time, but they were best for me I found out later on. It might not feel right, but it will turn out right.

It doesn't feel right because you are not seeing the "big picture". You never know what is in store for you down the road. Sometimes things that hurt , or changes in your life that you think suck at the time, turn out later to be a huge blessing.

Because God never promised you a rose garden. You won't feel "right" all the time. But when things happen it's truly meant to be, just because something is the way you want it, doesn't mean it should be so.

Becuase it will feel right later. For example you get fired from your dream job, but then you find another job that you like just as much with less stress.
