Why are they associated with hookers so on and so fourth? Why does everything think their bad people just for having a different job?

That's an example of perception.
People generalize their opinions based on the common train of thought. It's not right. In the case of exotic dancers it's more of a case of guilt by association. Other elements affiliated with strip clubs are shady in nature, hence, anything else related to it must also be shady.
They're women who have found a way to survive and make a living. Period. Given a chance I would bet many of them would rather be doing something else. But we do what we have to do to get by.

Fundamentally, strippers are not horrible people. BUT, the lifestyle they're living in many cases, and the exploitation of the female body for sexual gratification can be seen by many women and some men as degrading the entire female population.

Going back to their lifestyle. Often times these women are younger, and can be impressionable. Living the lifestyle that provides them with good money for simply showing their bodies, sometimes can lead them into becoming even more greedy for more money, hence the reason some of them becoming involved in prostitution. If it doesn't get to that point, they may in fact become hooked on illegal narcotics, since drugs are quite common in that environment also.

I don't believe they're bad people for having that job. Though it makes me sad to think that they truly want to make this their career of choice. Granted, younger women may not make a comparable amount of money in other jobs, but at least at the end of the day they would still have their dignity, and likely won't be frowned on for winding up hanging with the "wrong" crowd.

One other note here... Consider those same strippers becoming parents... And imagine yourself as that parent. As a parent, who had been involved in stripping when you were younger, would you take any issue with your own child choosing that career when they are of age?

well, even strippers are only human, therefore you have horrible and great persons among them. just like you have a good or a horrible sales person or actor or teacher or whatever...
but if a girl/woman acts nasty and she happens to be a stripper people will go 'yeah, sure, she's a stripper, what else can you expect of a stripper?'
we are very judgmental I guess, we treat others badly regardless of their profession. and being a stripper, which is not the most conventional career choice (but an interesting and profitable one if you ask me) among middle class people, attracts more attention than a dentist I guess. so being a stripper you become more visible and easier to be judged

I don't think that they are thought of as Horrible people.
There is an issue with morals, and that is what most will frown on. Just like a hooker, strippers are performing with little or no clothes on.for the possibility of easier money.
The money may be larger amount and quicker to get..but watch out.it may come back to haunt you in later years, or lead to something less desirable.

Because they degrade themselves by stripping as they can't function like ordinary women. Hookers are low life people. Strippers also, are not associated with Burlesque as some people think.

there nice peoples, i think it comes down to what you think personally.. and which club you could be talking about.. because some clubs allow strippers to go a lil further then stripping... anyhow.. there nice peoples.. i don't think i would date one though.. or at least i would like my girl stripping, but that's just because I'm a jealous person and don't like the thought of other guys seeing my girl in the way i should only :) self-fish to i guess lol

It all depends on what you are there for !? Some girls take it as a job (do their job and go home) BUT other girls do it to meet men and act like hookers. I know girls who have got into the business for both reasons.

I don't believe "horrible" is the word to describe. I don't view them as "bad", I just wonder, why would degrade themselves to be putting themselves in a position where men gawk, and drool, and make lewd sexual comments and not treated with respect. Sure they might be stuffing $20.00 in your garter, each time you "perform" for them, but they don't have respect for you. Have they ever engaged in a conversation of intellect with a stripper, No, they simply want to see your body.

If you really need to ask this question, then you need a morality check. Let's see...a woman gets paid to take off her clothes and deliberately tease men to arrousal, which sometimes leads to socially unacceptable behavior. It's just the pre hooker stage. In fact I have more respect for the Hooker. They don't wave "It" in your face then say Don't Touch!
