I do indeed. I expect them to be mannered (not well mannered anymore but having such...sigh) and mostly polite. The Deity help them if they're not....my spouse says. I don't allow people to swear around me -- ok, the few hells, damns and the occasional asshole are alright to a point but nothing stronger. I'm not a etiquette nazi but I do have a certain standard.

Funny, i had never thought about it, but yes i kinda do. Only at work though, i expect everyone at work to be on the same level and do their jobs, which of course is expecting way too much.

otherwise i really dont expect anything.

No. In this world of uncertainties, the most unpredictable is , perhaps, the human species. How can you expect very high from such unpredictable creatures?
