Yes, it's recommended. I actually have a workout video for pregnant women. It was put out the same people who do buns of steel. Anyway, the most important thing is DON"T PUSH YOURSELF! If it's starting to hurt stop! Doctors say that walking and swimming are best when pregnant. Personally I prefer swimming because I'm in the South and it gets so hot that I'd rather be in the water. Don't just sit on but, please! That's how I gained 70 lbs with my son. I'm exercising through my current pregnancy and my weight gain is right on track with what the doctors recommend.

Yes. You can exercise while pregnant. My OB told me that I could do the same kinds of activities I did before I was pregnant. Just to listen to my body and not push myself. If I felt pain or was feeling fatigue I should stop. I played volleyball up until I was 5 months pregnant. I stopped then, because I was afraid I would dive on my belly without thinking. And I didn't want to risk the chance of a ball being slammed into it either. I've also read that it is a good idea to start a non strenuous exercise program if you haven't exercised before becoming pregnant.

IF you exercised before pregnancy you can continue to exercise, but if you were a couch potato then walking is about all you can do.

yes, just be careful not to overdo. As long as t heere is no complications, or bedrest exercise should be fine. Its actually makes for a healthier pregnancy and delivery.

ask your doc 1st and clear it with them!

yes, it is actually really good for you and will make giving birth alot easier, you want to be careful of what kind of exercise you do tho, but the baby is protected enough that it won't hurt (s)he.
