by putting N's on the ends of words such as 'can'. We can't avoid human emotions, just try to calm yourself down and don't breathe deeply, that just pisses you off more!!

Hi Toutou,

WE CAN AVOID anger by staying away from it. While we can develop peace of mind by submitting our will to God.

But when we are already in the middle of it, then try to slowly take a deep breathe then slowly release (do it several times until you feel better), find a quiet place and pray. Only God can give us peace.

I would have to disagree with the gentleman who said "only God can give you peace". A locked bathroom door gives ME peace....quite often! LOL I was kidding. I have been dealing with a lot of angry feelings lately. What I have found that works for me is.........going ahead and getting angry (not nuts!), not trying to deny yourself having the feelings that you do..and then when you have figured out WHY/WHAT made you FRUSTRATED/FEARFUL/INDIGNANT...going to the source.......and letting them know you are torqued off and trying to figure out what made the event take place. even if i "get over" the feeling, I tend to hold on to my resentments.and THAT is not good for anyone. Try to clear all your "shelves" of toxic crap that you tend to store........and you'll feel a lot better. And, you will learn great coping skills for the rest of your life. I'll shut up now! :)

BE RATIONAL. DON'T BE QUICK TO JUDGE. IF SOMEONE SAYS OR DOES SOMETHING THAT IS BOUND TO MAKE U ANGRY, ASK YOURSELF WHY THE PERSON SAID OR DID THAT THING.

BREATH IN DEEPLY. AND BEST OF ALL, ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT TO BLESS YOU WITH THE FRUIT OF PATIENCE, COS ANGER IS ONE OF THE WORKS OR FRUITS OF THE FLESH.

PRAY MORE, BE QUICK TO LISTEN, SLOW TO SPEAK AND SLOW TO ANGER. AND DON'T FORGET, DON'T LET THE SUN GO DOWN ON UR ANGER.
