Welcome "E.T."!!!

Sorry, but I could not resist that! :)))

Do not worry! You will find all common means of transportation here. And some more that I am sure you have never thought of before - I am not joking! Be very welcome and discover these yourself. You will be quite surprised!

Compared with the US?

Because of the relatively higher population density in Europe, the public transportation system is much more extensive. There are buses and trains that actually go regularly from wherever you happen to be to wherever you want to get to! On the trains, you can buy a Eurail pass that lasts a certain number of days and allows you to go anywhere.

It's a great deal.

Local flights within Europe are also extremely cheap compared with the US.
