My son, at the age of three,(he's five now) awoke one morning and told me he had just been shown in his dream how to strangle someone! He proceeded to prove this(on my request) by putting his hands around my throat, thumbs crooked against my wind-pipe and pushed hard with those thumbs, causing me to choke(obviously!)and pull him away, amazed at his accurate knowledge of the correct way to strangle someone!!
I don't feel it's possible anyone could have shown him this, as at the time he was very shy and had no friends, as such. Also, he often tells me of his dreams when he awakes, some quite disturbing, some quite obviously from the mind of a three year old!
Suffice to say, I explained the dangers of doing such a thing on anyone and he has never done it again.
I'm not seriously concerned at present, as he has had no more dreams of such a graphically educatative nature, but I am interested to see what other open minds make of this?

I have a previous question about my son, if you wanted to read that also, to gain a better insight.

Trust me, his Media input was closely monitored when he was young.
And remember, people, I don't mind your disbelieving jibes, but please have the decency to refrain from taunting a three year old!
(a lot of bored, biased people on here, I see. I did ask for OPEN minds...)

Many of you seemed to not bother reading the question correctly...look, I know it's long, but if you can't be bothered to read it, don't answer, thanks.

I agree. This is very disturbing. I have an extremely open mind; but it depends on how open yours happens to be. Children tend to be very in-tune to things around them. Toddlers often have dreams of monsters when they have seen no TV or videos that have had such things in them. Children often see things that adults can't and/or won't see. Sounds strange but most of them do. Another user asked how open you were to past lives. Sometimes this does affect small children (I asked you to be open) and they will remember things that they should have forgotten. If your son has not shown any propensity for violent behavior and most of his dreams have stopped, then I wouldn't worry about it. Remember it but don't dwell on it. If they begin again then start writing things down until you get a good overview of what goes on in his dreams over a couple of weeks or so. You may want to ask him "who" it was that showed these things to him. Then consider professional help, especially if he begins to develop violent behavior that wasn't there before. Otherwise, let him be a five year old but monitor what he sees on TV. (I believe you said you were) Watch who his friends are and how they play. This may have just been a sort of a short term thing. Best wishes.

I looked at the other question you had in regarding your child and you said he saw a man crawling across your ceiling. Like I said, children can see things that many adults can't or won't.

Now this is disturbing. A spirit has chosen to guide him but is teaching him things he really doesn't need to know. What other things has this spirit taught him? Do you know any Shamans? Or anyone skilled at mediating between the spirit world and ours? I would suggest that someone needs to enter the astral world, perhaps through the gateway your son's dreams provide, and seek out the spirits who cluster around him and take appropriate steps to remove any undesireable ones. As you chose your son's physical friends carefully, I should hope, you must also choose his spirit friends carefully. Once he gets into school, alas, you will lose all control physically and spiritually by the time he reaches High School, but for now, be dilligent!

And I would like to second Riverotter's suggestion to start writing down his dreams. This will help you see the big picture and find any patterns that might be helpful.

I think he is dreaming of a passed life. Just keep asking about the dreams and telling him which ones are not good things to do. Also at such a young age, it could be a spirit. Have your house blessed, and see if the dreams stop.

I believe it, it usually occurs in small children. My granddaughter used to sit and talk to herself all the time. When my daughter asked who she was talking to she said "Gramma Mimi" Well, Gramma Mimi had told her about Footie. My daughter found out through the Great Grandmother that her daughter was called Mimi as a child and had a dog named Footie that was sometimes mean. She told her she hadn't thought about this little girl Mimi or Footie for a long time. The one my grandaughter called Gramma Mimi (Kelly) has been dead for 6-7 years and her Footie died back when she was still a teenager. Even her ex-husband didn't know that she had been called Mimi. It was really quite eerie. But since her other Gramma died before our granddaughter was born I'm glad she had a chance to sit and play with her. But she was scared of Footie.
This same granddaughter was also sitting on my lap one night at the computer and she was looking at something like it was actually there. Her head would move with it and her eyes surveyed it up and down. When I asked her what she was doing she told me there was watching an old lady dressed in old clothes and she looked lonely.

I agree with you, for a mother that's quite scary and weird too.

However... dreams do not normally fortell the future so dont be alarmed. Bad news is, it could be an unconscious desire, hidden fear, something he has seen by day or constantly have thought of already. So my point is, he could've witnessed something horrible outside the house or on the media. Make sure to be always with him when he watches TV. Also, keep him from seeing violent and offensive images or movies. Teach him good morals and principles like a good parent should be.

That's odd, poor child, yes I would say that's disturbing, I am very much of the mind that children can pick up on psychic vibes and I also believe that they are susceptible to demon attack (sorry don't mean to freak you out with that) and that things like imaginary friends are actually demons talking to the child. I would take some advice from someone more knowledgeable about this. I really don't mean to scare you by saying that, it's just what I believe.

I read your previous question about your son also(I hope you don't mind that-I understood, there are some people who think that they can make your psychological profile based on your questions,so just for the record-I am not doing that).Reading about your son,I remembered myself.I have to say-I was older then he is-I think, about 7 years old.I also had some very strange dreams(some of them I remember even now),and twice I have seen people that weren't really there. The dreams weren't about fighting, but some of them showed me(in a quite terrifying way)some things about relations es in my family I couldn't see or understand then,so only now I can say how true they were.I am not in any way referring to your family,I just wanted to tell you that I have my own experience in that field and that is a reason why I am answering to your question-I think children can see and understand things much better then adults on intuitive level.I don't think that from our perspective we can fully understand their world.I do think that your son needs your understanding and faith in him,and from my point of view-that is all help he needs, just like every other child. If you go with him to psychiatrists,or priests it is going to help him only in a sense of strangling his personality and imagination-I wouldn't do it-not everybody have this gift.
By the way, thanks for your answer to my question!

Hello Googlywotsit,

I would be very disturbed as well if I were in your situation. BUT THERE IS ALWAYS a solution to a problem, right?

Kids are like sponge. They absorb everything that is happening around them and in their young minds try to reinact them and that happens most in their dreams. So, check the things in your house (books, movies, and even role models) that might have been contributing to your son's behaviour.

I don't know but, I feel like it is also good to seek help from Christians that you know or even go to a church and ask for people there to come and pray for your son.

I hope this makes sense to you.

a very different situaion arises when these things happen.
till i know human unconcious is the most powerful of all imaginative media's
it can make u believe somethings which u can never even think of
the weird pictures and places, where u are somebody else and u are doind a thing even as criminal as teethering somebody to pieces are there in dreams.
also the imagination of a act must have arisen due to some news of it in resent past from u or T.V. etc.
yes it can happen and u can really make the things as presice to the exact in unconcious.
don't worry
