its for dry martini mix

1 2/3 ounces Gin
1/3 ounce Dry Vermouth
Stir and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with an olive.

The perfect martini requires planning and patience. Put 3.5 oz. of Beefeater Gin in Freezer along with the glass but seperately.Get them as cold as possible.About ten minutes before drinking this masterpiece Put 2 LARGE olives in the glass in freezer along with 1/4 oz. of Dry vermouth. While you are waiting cut a tiny slice of lemon. Now you are ready. This is the most important part so pay attention DO NOT SHAKE ---Stir the gin, olives and vermouth VERY Gently and rub rim with lemon. Feel free to eat one olive after the first sip(Dont put your Friggin fingers in your masterpiece to retrieve your olive!!!) Eat the second with Your last swallow. Earnest Hemingway would be proud of you.

Here are a coupld of my fave Martinis:

Cosmopolitan: 1 part Stoli Oranj (or any orange) vodka, 3/4 part Cointreau, 2 part Cranberry. Shake in a shaker with ice, strain into martini glass. Garnish with orange rind.

Appletini: 1 part Vodka, 1 1/2 part Sour Apple Pucker, 1 part Sprite (if desired). Shake (gently!) in a shaker with ice, strain into martini glass. Garnish with a slice of green apple.

Peachtini: 1 1/2 part Stoli Perasik (or any peach vodka), 1 1/2 part Peach Schnapps, 2 parts Sprite, 1/2 part mango juice. Shake (gently!) in a shaker with ice, strain into martini glass.

Chocotini: 1 1/2 part Chocolate Vodka, 1 1/2 part white Godiva, 1 1/2 part milk. Shake in a shaker with ice, strain into martini glass. Garnish with chocolate shavings.

Now, all of these are nice and all, but I prefer the simplicity of a vodka & tonic with lime.
