The Celestron C90 is reasonably economical and you can purchase a T-ring to attach it to your Nikon. You need both a T-ring and T-ring adabter. The T-ring attaches to your Nikon body. The adabter between the T-ring and the telescope.

Be aware that the C90 has a focal ratio of f13 so it is kind of slow but has a focal length of 1200 mm.

Do not expect as great optics as a Nikon lens, but not bad. The focal ratio is the main draw back.

The Celestron site has most of the information you need, including info on the T-ring and T-ring adabter under accessories.

If you would like a little better scope, consider the C5. It is f10. But 2.5 times the price.

ask your local hobby shop and they will tell what you really want to know or a telescope store will do fine to if you have one around!!
