Forests are a necessity for maintaining our environmental balance. They are like our biological reserve. The best thing they do is provide much needed refinement to the polluted air. apart from this forests are the source of invaluable wood, medicinal plants and herbs etc. Forests are also the natural habitat for many species of animals/birds/insects. May be, we don't like them all but they are inevitable for our ecosystem.
