Eczema is a form of dermatitis, or inflammation of the upper layers of the skin. Dermatitis severely dries out the skin, and keeping the affected area moistened can promote healing and retain natural moisture. This is the most important self-care treatment that one can use in atopic eczema.

See the Wikipedia link below, which includes a section on "Treatment"

I have eczema as well, it gets pretty bad in the winter.

If you live in the UK- Boots have some cream there for people with eczema.

I use Oilatum bath formula, Eumovate ointment and hydrocortisone cream. it helps of calm down the itch and clear away the sore patches.

There's also aqueous cream which helps to soften the skin- it is also in a soap bar form.

I have got most of my guidance from my local doctor. Also you should aviod using foam bath coz they dry the skin.

It shouldn't be a turn off to boys, doesn't sound like yours is sevre! Have the confidence!

Eventually your eczema should clear up

Hope i have helped you! Nuff love xx

I don't think it would be a big turn off unless it was really bad but you say you have it very mild. Don't worry just be yourself and you will be fine.
