Pick out a goal. Something that you really want to do or be when you get out of school. And when you decide. Just think that every problem you do on your homework is the next step to success.

Life is about one thing for all people who have a brain (each brain is its own): making decisions. YOU have to decide for yourself after a certain age. Don't screw up. I have not made the brightest decisions in life but i'm still alive, fairly happy and old. Some adults might say this sounds self - satisfied but I don't care. Life is tough for everyone and i'm just grateful to be alive.
The only reason i am able to say this is because I didn't look down my nose at an education and kept at it even when i couldn't stand it..had to quit for a year in high school when Math was driving me mad..I went back after a year of living like "an adult" in far away city. It was a mistake but looking back i can see it couldn't be avoided. At the time..only I could to decide. That might or might not be the way you are...

We are strangers but please take my advice...try to go straight through high school without a "dropout phase". If you are lazy then seek the easiest way through it with the best marks possible. And lasty, take the time to think hard about what you're interested in so that when you get through it you will have some idea of what to do..whether its to continue any further education or to become a manufacter of doorknobs. As for the drinking and "other stuff"(whatever that is) i say the same thing: only you can decide but never ever ever blame anyone else.

You seem like a good kid but we never know who we are talking to on here and all have to be careful. Still, i'm taking a chance that you are for real and I wish you all the luck in the world! ps..don't get pissed but your spelling needs a lot of work. ok?

hanmabookie is right. The only person that can make you do better is you. I could have graduated with honors in high school. But I slacked off and I was lazy. I went in my freshman year with a 3.88 and by my sophomore year it was a 1.9. I tried really hard for the next two years, but still only graduated with a 2.69. If you want to be successful in life, you have to start now.

I'm going to say this because I wish someone said it to me:

Your grades are YOURS. They prettymuch tell you how you're going to do in life. You have a D average? You're going to have a D average life--I swear by this.

Listen little homey, please, for your own sake don't be "lazy and laid back" when it comes to school. I know what a lot of kids say: "how is _______ going to help me in the real world?" Trust me, it all comes back around. You don't know what opportunities are going to open up to you when you graduate, so take advantage of school. Learn as much as you can, because you will NEVER get another chance to give yourself a chance. Take it from me, because I'm looking back on my life with regrets when it comes to education.
