I'm thinking of studying in UK but I want to take my mom along. I wonder if that's possible. When I first came to Singapore, my mum can apply for long term visit pass that allow her to stay for 6 months. Is there such thing in UK?

u must show enough funds to live here in UK like, uni fees, accomodation and living costs etc, without working here itself. you can get student visa and ur mother can have dependent visa.

I don't think it works that way here. Check with the immigrations first.
