When Jesus said that he is the WAY, the TRUTH and LIFE what did he actualy mean...Why are people taking this statement he made so literally?

Here's what I believe he meant by those words:
WAY - Follow me and I will lead you to God
TRUTH - Listen to what I teach coz it'l lead you to God
LIFE - Take my life as an example as how to live and it'll lead you to God.

Isn't this the easiest way to be a christian? Why did people have to go add their "doctrines" and ruin the true meaning of christianity?

"...In vain they worship me with doctines of men"-Isaiah

You are 100% correct.

ONE CHURCH..ONE BODY..ONE SPIRIT..ONE BAPTISM..ONE FAITH..ONE DOCTRINE.

The New Testament is the ONE Doctrine. Any church adds to that with do's and don't...just made what? a False Doctrine.

They just turned God's Grace...into...Disgrace.

Jesus could have easily said "follow me and i know the way to God etc etc" as indeed lots of people have done but he did not.

Whislt i agree with your isaiah sentiment I think the issue is Jesus is the way. Him personally. Not rules, doctrines etc. He has actually achieved something that nobody else could have. The easiest way to be a Christian is to accept that it's easier than rules.

Well yes its true that there are those who complicate the Gospel by adding their doctrines to it, but it isnt as easy as pie to just become a Christian and then go to Heaven.

The main theme of Jesus' Message was love. He loved us by giving us a way to be with Him in Heaven, so we need to show Him that we love Him by repenting of our sins and following Him in example for our lives.

Being a Christian isn't just a status people have. It's a life-changing experience, in which we see what Jesus did for us, we take his teachings and apply them to our lives, and in this way we become closer to what God has planned us to be.

The true meaning of Christianity is to follow in God's ways. He says follow in the teachings of the apostles after he left. There for what they tought is what you have to follow. The question you have to ask your self is How close do I want to be to him. Are you willing to love him with all you have and do what ever he says ? If so Follow the LAWS OF THE BIBLE.(All of them, not just the ones that suite you?

Jesus? Use your brain for just a few seconds.

If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.

Do Gods die? Do they?

If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides a few hours was sacrificed?

What's the BIG deal?

David Blaine can almost do that.

Why be a Christian who has to accept this type of thinking?

Well, you can believe that all the way to eternity but that does not make it right.

I am the way, the truth and the life...I and my Father are one...if you see Me you see the Father...

What is so hard to understand here?
He did NOT say He was leading you, He say He was "IT." no going unto the Father, but by HIM.

That is not doctrine. That is Bible.

I don't know either, and when someone ask a simple question trying to learn it always start a argument, everyone learn on different level like in school not everyone going to get the same message out of the bible either, that what make us all different..

I can not say that Jesus Christ words were difficult to be understood: It meant I am a man like you, if I could do it, so are you.

Even if he meant that he was the only way to Salvation. . .you have to accept the possibility that this was intended only for those who heard the sound of his voice, at the time he was saying it.

You got it.

Which is why He said earlier: "Take my yoke [teaching] and LEARN OF ME for I am meek and lowly... My yoke is easy and my burden [worldly possessions] is light."

Peace be with you!
